Flush Batten Strip Technology
The WES Flush Batten Strip design is primarily used in high erosion services such as High Pressure Acid Leach Autoclaves.
This design provides advantages for cladding systems in Titanium and Zirconium. It was developed to overcome the erosion and fatigue problems that have been associated with conventional batten strip design and fabrication.
The internationally patented, fully flush design allows the internal surface of the vessel to have a smooth continuous surface as opposed to other designs having raised welds and battens at the vessel's main seam locations.
This also provides cladding butt welds rather than fillet welds as used in conventional batten strip fabrication.

To maintain its position in this field requires continual development in welding technology supported by the company's in-house NATA accredited mechanical testing facility.

The company has a commitment to effective project management and as such has established systems and allocated resources to ensure delivery milestones are attained and the client is fully informed through the process of the job.
Production Progress Reports regularly issued to the client include summary of material procurement, Engineering/documentation status of manifacture and schedules.
